Dr. Judy K. Osgood, Ph.D. Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Judy Osgood is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Illinois.  Dr. Osgood has over 25 years of experience in the provision of psychological services for children, adolescents and adults including counseling, psychological evaluations and consultations.

Dr. Osgood is an advocate of the prevention of abuse, trauma and neglect of children, advocates a drug free home and family environment with a focus on the best interests of children.  Dr. Osgood has had extensive experience in treatment in the areas of abuse and trauma, substance abuse, stress management and wellness.  Dr. Osgood is available to provide presentations, workshops and seminars along with evaluations and consultations.

Our Business

Dr. Judy Osgood has experience in education, clinical and hospital settings.  As a graduate student, Dr. Osgood taught introductory psychology at the University of Illinois and was awarded teacher's rated as excellent by their students.  Dr. Osgood was a counselor at University High School in Urbana, Illinois.  Dr. Osgood completed an internship at the University of Illinois counseling center.

After completing her Ph.D., Dr. Osgood worked for five years in an inpatient substance abuse treatment program at Weiss Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.  For five years, Dr. Osgood worked at a multi-specialty clinic and was the head of the psychology department.  Dr. Osgood worked provided psychological assessments for children and adolescents hospitalized on inaptient units for a variety of mental health and substance abuse treatment needs. 

Dr. Osgood has completed continuing education classes to gain experience and training in the area of forensic psychology to conduct custody evaluations, and visitation evaluations as well as to provide parenting education and coaching.
